SIGNLINK’s Split Battens is the answer for flexible, removable or permanent mounting solutions. Coming in various lengths and two options – SD (Standard Duty) for lightweight applications and HD (Heavy Duty) for secure, heavy-load installations
SD – Standard Duty Split Batten
Usage: For projects requiring minimal shadow lines like wall graphics, artworks, whiteboards and bedheads, joinery panels, signs and displays.
- Setting: Solid aluminium interlocking shoulders design:
- 5mm mounting gap from the wall.
- They come in as a single profile or set.
- Size: Standard sizes are from 4800mm down to 100mm.
- Custom sizes available upon request.

HD – Heavy Duty Split Batten
Usage: Secure applications where heavy items need to be permanently fixed or removable with just 8mm shadow gap.

- Good for both indoor and outdoor use.

Can I order odd-sized split battens?
Yes, we offer custom sizes in addition to our standard options for the split battens. However, custom sizes come with a higher price. For example, if you need a 1700mm system, we will charge you the price of our nearest larger size, which is 1800mm.
What is the Maximum Size of your split battens?
Our maximum size for split batten systems is 4800mm. However, due to the large dimensions, we recommend cutting into smaller systems instead. This option is not only easier to handle but also more cost-effective for delivery.
How can I add extra security to the split batten systems (fix permanently)?
Our Heavy Duty split batten systems feature a hole across the interlocking shoulders, allowing you to insert a screw or silicone for enhanced security and durability.
Can I pick up my split batten order?
Absolutely! Our split batten systems are manufactured locally at our warehouse in Peakhurst, NSW, and you’re welcome to pick up your order in person. This can save you time and delivery fees.
